2nd. Grade Activities

Hello kids! I miss you all! How are you doing? Hope you are doing well.

ACTIVITY 1:

Today we will review the types of sentences like, questions and statements. Asking sentences are questions, example: What is your name? and telling sentences are statements, example: My name is Julie. Now you are going to practice. Write in your notebook 5 questions and 5 statements.

ACTIVITY 2:

Now let´s review exclamatory and imperative sentences. An exclamatory sentence shows strong emotion or excitement. It ends with an exclamation point (!). Example: This is so easy to do!
An imperative sentence makes a request or gives a command. It ends with a period (.). Example: You must wash your hands. To make any sentence negative, you must add the word not after the verb. Example: It is not raining!
